Principal agent Mary Brogan Wilson is a second-generation agency owner. “I’ve practically grown up as an Erie Insurance agent, joining the family business at age 17 in 1985,” she says. “I really love what I do, especially working with clients to determine the proper coverage to protect them.”

Mary and her four-person staff pride themselves in helping their clients understand their coverage, instead of just writing a policy. Mary holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. Her staff members each have over 15 years of insurance experience and are friendly, professional and accessible.

Serving Our Community

The agency serves its clients and the community by supporting programs including Project WARM, Sounds of the Mountains Storytelling Festival, Street Survival and Camp Bethel. Whether delivering firewood to families in need, helping teenagers become better drivers or helping their clients protect their assets, the staff is dedicated to serving others.

The agency has been recognized over the years both by ERIE and the local community. Brogan Insurance was voted one of the Best Insurance Agencies in The Roanoker Magazine in 2017 & 2018 and is a past recipient of the Erie Insurance Giving Network Agency of the Year Award.
